V Ravichandran, the showman of Kannada cinema, is trying very hard to get the success that has become a distant dream him.

After nearly four years of effort in the making of the Kannada film 'Manjina Hani', (some say that top Hollywood films don't take so much of time), it is finally taking shape. What caused the hardship for Ravichandran, were the finances.

Fed up with the working style of V Ravichandran, producer Sandesh Nagaraj wanted to sell the film in the middle of the shoot. V Ravichandran has invested all the money in 'Manjina Hani'. The money mountain started melting as the re-shooting of fifty percent of the film is breath-taking for any producer.

Now, for his birthday on the 30th of May, he is making preparations for 'Manjina Hani's release. He is contemplating on launching his son Manoranjan, on the same day.
