(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Vanessa Hudgens revealed she is still close to her ex-boyfriend Zac Efron as she celebrated her 22nd birthday in Las Vegas over the weekend.

The pair are believed to have split earlier this month after four years together. They met on the set of the High School Musical franchise and even though they are no longer dating, Vanessa insists she has remained on good terms with Zac.

When asked about her split from Zac, Vanessa gave a thumbs-up sign, before saying, "We're good."

The star looked stunning in a tight fitting strapless metallic silver dress as she partied at Pure nightclub in Caesars Palace hotel on Saturday night. She was accompanied in the VIP area of the club by her friends Ashley Tisdale and Brittany Snow. Earlier in the evening, Vanessa was presented with an impressive three-tiered floral birthday cake and posed for photos with fans. The actress appeared determined not to let the recent break-up affect her special night and was spotted dancing on a couch in the early hours of the morning.

Vanessa is already looking forward to next year, revealing she has a hectic work schedule ahead of her.

"I worked a lot in 2009. I did two movies back to back, so this year I just hung out, took it easy, did a play which was a lot of fun, did a movie and now the year is coming to an end before I know it, she told People magazine. "It's going to be a very, very busy year. I have three movies coming out in the next year, so I'm excited to see what the future is going to hold." (C) Cover Media
