Noted guitarist R Prasanna who worked with Oscar-winner A. R. Rahman is a music director now, with Vazhakku Enn 18/9. One of the highlights is that the film has only two songs with minimal use of instruments.

Vazhakku Enn 18/9 is a student thriller directed by 'Kathal' fame Balaji Sakthivel and stars newcomers Mithun, Sri, Urmila and Manisha. 

Cameraman Vijay Milton has used a Canon EOS 7D digital camera for the recording, it is said.

The film is produced by Thirrupathi Brothers and UTV. Plans are on to release the film soon.
