The second song from the film 'Aazaadiyan' showed the dark truth and the story at the time of partition. As thousands and lakhs of people had to migrate from one place to another, rather from one nation to another, migration was not that easy. As it showed the partition between the two princely states of India and Pakistan, director Srijit Mukherji decided to bring two of the best voices together from either sides of the border. Sonu Nigam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan were roped in to voice the songs and the output which came was tremendous. The song became the iconic song soon after its release and was loved by the music lovers.
