Vidya Balan is certainly not hungover from the success of her last film "The Dirty Picture". Her role as the sultry "Silk" a 70's chorus dancer turned lead actress made eye balls pop- out and jaws drop. Her next film Kahaani's trailer is out and it promises an even more pathbreaking performance from the actress.

Vidya who ended the year with the 'oh la la' moment she has given a striking start to the new year with the first look of her upcoming film "Kahaani" already.

Though Sujoy Ghosh’s previous film, "Aladin",  it seems that this time, he's made the smart move by roping in Vidya for the role. The film is about Vidya who plays a pregnant woman in search of her husband and the father of the child. And it takes her all the way to Kolkata from London. "Kahaani" will be marked as Vidya’s fifth female-centric film after "Parineeta", "Paa", "No One Killed Jessica" & "The Dirty Picture". Sujoy has shot the film in real locations and showcased Kolkata in all its festive glory. The festivities combined with the grim theme of the film creates a visual spectacle and if the trailer is anything to go by, Vidya is set to walk away with a lot of accolades this time around too.

The first look is extremely edgy and Vidya again manages to floor you even as a heavily pregnant woman minus all the glamour and skin show that she offered in her last film.The movie looks extremely engaging and one just can’t get over it with one look
