Actor Vikram and filmmaker Dharani have been sharing a great friendship right from their College days in Loyola, Chennai. Later they came together marking stupendous records in film industry with couple of continuous blockbusters. When Vikram wasn't doing very well with his career graph, it was Bala, who gave him a big break through the movie 'Sethu'.

Although the film was critically acclaimed, the actor could establish him as a mass hero with the movie 'Dhill' later followed by 'Dhool'. Nearly after 9 years, the duo is coming together for another film and this time, they're keen on striking for a hat-trick spell. None of the details about the film's star-casts and crewmembers has been revealed and the film will start rolling by mid of 2011.

Vikram is busy now shooting for his next movie 'Deiva Magan' while Dharani with his Telugu movie 'Meruppu' starring Ram Charan Teja in lead role.
