Vikram, along with Shriya Saran, Reema Sen and select members of Rajapattai team, will pack his bags off to Italy to shoot a special song. The number will be shot in some of the best locations of the beautiful country.

"Work on the film is progressing smoothly. The talkie portions have been completed, and only songs are left to be shot. For a song and dance sequence with Shriya, Reema and Vikram, we will soon be flying to Italy," said director Suseenthiran, in a statement issued to the media.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Sun Pictures, the film production and distribution arm of Sun Television network, has acquired the rights of Rajapattai from producer Prasad V Potluri of PVP Cinema.

The film is an action packed comedy entertainer which has Deeksha Seth as heroine and Pradeep Rawat playing the bad guy. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music and this is first time for him to score music for a Vikram movie.
