Chiyaan Vikram has constantly been trying his experiment with various genres. He especially takes up films that win him awards and indeed his performance in different roles has gained him incredible laurels. After a long sabbatical, he has now started working in a commercial entertainer titled 'Rajapettai'. The film is produced by Prathish and Santhosh under the banner of SP Creations. The film has Vikram in the lead role, with Telugu actress Deeksha Seth starring opposite him. National award winner Thambi Ramaiah and Mayilsamy are performing important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for the film and this is the second time that the music director comes together with Suseenthiran, following the grand success of 'Naan Mahaan Alla'.
