Remember Vinay, who emerged the 'chocolate hero' of Tamil cinema thanks to Unnale Unnale and Jayamkondan. After a break, he is back in Kollywood and has signed a slew of films.

'At present, I am shooting for director Madesh's Mirattal, which is a commercial entertainer. After that, I will play the protagonist in a film to be helmed by cinematographer Ramesh. I have also Okay-ed a couple of other scripts,' he says.

When asked why he took such a long break, Vinay explains, 'I was waiting for the right scripts. And when Mirattal happened, I slipped and fell down from the terrace of my house and got injured. Now I am fit and fine to don the greasepaint.'

Going down the memory lane, Vinay says, 'It was Jeeva sir who launched me with a great role in Unnale Unnale. He is no more now, but I still cherish the valuable lessons I learnt from him.'
