'I am not bothered even if I get to act in only one film per year. But it should offer me a meaty role,' says Pooja. The Naan Kadavul and Attagasam actress is currently doing one such character in Bala's upcoming film.

'I was away from acting for the past couple of years since I did not come across any interesting role. My wait came to an end when Bala sir asked me to be part of his next venture,' she says.

The movie, tentatively titled Paradesi, has Atharva and Vedhika in other important roles. 'I am not supposed to talk about the character I am doing. But I can say it will show me in a totally new dimension,' Pooja says.

The beautiful actress started her journey in Kollywood with Charan directed Jay Jay which had Madhavan in the lead. She also played the heroine of Thambi directed by Seeman, which also had Madhavan as the protagonist.
