Vishal is currently shooting for Samaran directed by Thiru of Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai fame, in which he is romancing Trisha. After completing the project, he will start working on a film to be helmed by Sundar C.

In the yet to be titled movie, Vishal will share the screen space with Karthika, the Ko girl. Shooting for the project is expected to start in June.

"Sundar C is a great fan of yesteryear heroine Radha, who is the mother of Karthika. Also he was impressed with Karthika's performance in Ko. So he picked the young actress to be the leading lady of his forthcoming film," sources say.

Touted as a family entertainer, the film will have Vishal playing a triple role, for the first time. Sundar is currently busy with the post production works of his directorial comeback film Kalakalappu, which was earlier named as Masala Cafe.
