All the three young actors whose films hit the screens on Friday were happy with the initial feedback. We are talking about Vishal, Vimal and Prasanna, whose Vedi, Vaagai Sooda Vaa and Muran saw the light of the day last week, respectively.
While Vishal is happy with the opening his comeback film has witnessed thanks to his fan clubs and non-stop promotions from Sun TV Network which has acquired the release rights, Vimal is content with the reviews and appreciations from various quarters, for his period film.
And what has made Prasanna happy is both reviews and the opening, as Muran, in which he had shared the screen space with Cheran, has been declared an intense thriller which is set to rule the box office. 'It is no doubt going to be an important film in his career', circles close to him say.
While Vedi is directed by Prabhudeva with Sameera Reddy playing the female lead, Vaagai Sooda Vaa is directed by Sargunam of Kalavani fame with newcomer Iniya playing the female lead. Muran, directed by newcomer Rajan Madhav, has Nikitha and Haripriya as the leading ladies.
