'Sui Dhaaga: Made in India' is a story revolving around two small-town couple who are each other's strength. The central characters of the film Mamta and Mauji are played by Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan respectively. It was Varun who never handled a sewing machine in his life getting trained rigorously in several tailoring workshops and the very first step which is to make the thread go through the needle. Varun is understanding how to operate a sewing machine and by hard work and a lot of efforts the 'Judwaa 2' actor managed to sew a blouse, shirt and even a pillow cover. While it was not that difficult for Anushka, as in her childhood she learnt stitching. She masters the art of embroidery by using just a needle and thread weaving designs on a piece of cloth.
