29th September 2017

Looks like the remake of the old 90's songs these days has become a hit formulae for the current Bollywood filmmakers. Why not, the old melodies and lyrics connect with the audiences even today.

Rohit Shetty applied this hit formula on his upcoming film 'Golmaal Again' introducing its brand new song  'Maine Tujhko Dekha'. The song is sung by Amaal Mallik and its lyrics are penned by Kumaar. Clearly, an exact adaption from Ajay Devgn's hit film Ishq's song 'Neend Churayi Meri'. The old song was crooned by Anu Malik, while the current song Maine Tujhko Dekha is sung by his nephew Amaal Malik.

Talking about the song the singer said, "I am doing two songs for the film, one among which is Neend Churayi. It's a big responsibility. It is also a tribute to my uncle, Anu Malik, who composed the original. We will retain the hook line and add new verses to the song. It will suit the mood of the film."

Further, talking about the visuals of the song Ajay Devgn is seen chasing Parineeti Chopra cycling along with his gang of Arshad Warsi, Kunal Khemu, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade. Only the co-star missing was Tabu from the music video. The song has covered some exotic hill-side location with the stars dancing on a mini-train.
