The makers of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer sci-fi film '2.0' released a new song titled 'Nanhi Si Jaan' it features Akshay as Dr. Pakshi Rajan an ornithologist capturing the moments of flock of birds flying in rhythm. Emotionally attached to these beautiful creatures Akki's character enjoys their company to the fullest.

Sung by Kailash Kher with the soul-soothing music of A. R. Rahman, this becomes a connecting number to the audiences. Also, the visuals are quite cinematic as we witness various species of birds flying in the sky. Helmed by S Shankar, 2.0 is made on a budget of a whopping Rs 600 crore. Recently, during the trailer launch, Rajnikanth made this revelation saying, "Take my words, 2.0 will be a super hit. I'd like to congratulate producer Subhaskaran and director Shankar. Subhaskaran invested 600 cr trusting only director Shankar."

The film turned out to be a blockbuster as it raked 400cr in 4 days counting the worldwide. Bankrolled under the banner of Lyca Productions, 2.0 was released on November 29, 2018. The film enjoyed a solo release date.
