'Fashionably Late' is the term popularized by film stars who arrive late in style. 

Though nobody has ever officially claimed it to be a style statement, it has been the norm that Bollywood superstars religiously follow. 

While Govinda and Salman Khan are famous for arriving late on sets, it is superstar Shah Rukh Khan who reports late on most of the events. 

The latest incident was about he running two hours late for the launch of an app for actor-director Saahil Prem's 'Mad About Dance'. 

Though he humbly apologized to the crowd and media for the long delay, SRK did come up with a novel excuse for the same.

He claimed that he should be excused this time as he was busy working on the prep-work for his anticipated film 'Happy New Year' (HNY). 

The film's first look is supposed to be launched this week and hence the whole team of 'HNY' is working hard to get the things in place. 

SRK being the producer and leading star of the film is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the event is a big hit. 

"Technical aspects are being looked into. I have to make sure that the sound projection is fine," he said. 

The actor is not only looking after the finer details for the film trailer that will be releasing, but he is also planning to make it a celebratory event for everyone to remember. 

"I also have to see that the food arrangements that evening are perfect. Currently, I'm like a wedding planner. I want everyone who comes there to have a good time," SRK added with his enchanting smile.
