Aslam made a talked-about directorial debut with the movie 'Paagan' starring Srikanth, a couple of months back. Now his next project has been announced.

"Director Aslam, who shot to fame with his recent hit Paagan is gearing up to direct his next movie. Titled 'Mustafa', a popular actor is going to play the lead role", a statement was made at a press release.

It further stated that, "According to the director, the movie is an out and out comedy extravaganza like Sundar C.'s Ullathai Allitha."

Shooting will commence in January 2013. The details of the cast and crew will be released in a couple of weeks, concluded the statement.
