After playing a South belle in 'Chennai Express', Deepika Padukone is getting ready to be seen in an Indian cultural look once again as she plays a 'Marathi Mulgi' in 'Happy New Year'.
Deepika who has given her career's best hits with Shah Rukh Khan is teaming up once again with him for Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year'.
The screen test for the movie was held in King Khan's Mannat and Farah had arranged for loud Marathi traditional saris and jewelry for Deepika.
After the look test was done, SRK was joined by his daughter Suhana who was browsing through the pictures and then she turned around and asked Deepika, "Where are you in them"?.
Deepika had a hearty laugh and she showed Suhana where exactly she was in the stills. The actress has never dressed in a marathi sari, a reason why SRK's princess could not identify her.
On hearing Suhana's comment, Farah was the happiest as she felt that Deepika will be presented to the audience in a look she was never seen before in.
