Mohan Babu’s upcoming mythological film Ravana has been in news these days, more for the star cast of the film, as the makers are yet to finalize its female lead. 

There is news that the first choice of the makers to play the lead opposite Mohan Babu was Sridevi. But now since the actress has demanded a huge sum the makers are planning to rope in Shriya Saran as the female lead.

However, the actor has a different story to tell. Mohan has snubbed all media reports that claimed Sridevi’s or Shriya Saran’s name for the film. 

He says, 'All the speculations by media are baseless. When the star cast gets finalized, we will formally announce it.'

The film has been written by Bhairavi while K. Raghavendra Rao is directing it under the banner of producer Vishnu.
