Actor Suriya has a good market value across both Tamil and Telugu film industry and that was the main reason why Shankar and producers of Gemini Film Circuit decided to sign him for both the versions of ‘3 Idiots’. But then, the actor apparently walking out of the project literally confused everyone. Finally, we hear it from the closer sources that actor demanded for a bigger remuneration as he hiked his salary to Rs.12Crores and insisted to get the Telugu rights that was approximately costing around Rs. 10Crores. When Rajnikanth himself is paid Rs.25Crores, is Suriya worthy of getting so much at this stage. Instantly, the actor was pushed out of the project thereby paving a favorable way for Vijay into the film. The film has started rolling Ooty with portions involving SJ Suryah, Jeeva, Srikanth, Ileana D’Cruz and Sathyaraj being shot there. Vijay will join the sets from February 25 onwards after completing ‘Velayudham’.
