Wilmer Valderrama confirms that he and Minka Kelly are friends and "that's all there is to it."

The 32-year-old American television actor and Disney star Demi Lovato have been dating off and on since 2010.

The pair are rumoured to have split for good in recent months and ladies' man Wilmer is said to have moved on to dating actress Minka Kelly.

Wilmer jokingly dismissed this speculation on Ryan Seacrest's On Air radio programme Thursday morning.

"Well Minka Kelly and Wilmer Valderrama have been friends for a long time and that's all there is to it," Wilmer laughed after Ryan probed about their alleged trysts.

Sources report that Wilmer and Minka are much more than friends.

"They were kissing and grinding [at Greystone Manor Supperclub in West Hollywood on March 18]," an onlooker reported to Us Weekly.

Friends also believe that Wilmer and Minka have elevated their relationship from friendship to romance.

"I wouldn't say they're boyfriend and girlfriend, but he's started ignoring calls from some of his other girls," another source told the publication.

Minka and New York Yankees baseball player Derek Jeter split in August 2011 after being together for over three years.

The pair spent the Christmas holidays in Paris together in December and were thought to have reunited romantically.

Minka and her representatives have not yet commented on the matter.
