Actors often tend to develop a great bond after working together for a long time.
There are innumerable instances of friendships blooming on film sets. And the latest to join the list are Yaami Gautam and Ali Zafar who co-star in the film 'Total Siyappa'.
Pakistani multi-talented star Ali Zafar found a good friend in Yaami who plays his love interest in the film.
Incidentally, the film is about the acceptance of a Pakistani in an Indian family and close to reality, the situation is not very different.
While in the film, Yaami takes Ali to her place as her boyfriend; in reality she is taking him home for a family dinner as a dear friend.
Ali who is happily married in real life developed a great relationship with Yaami while working on the film. She often shared the talks and instances that she experienced with Ali with her parents and this has drawn her parents' attention.
Yaami's parents have now invited Ali to dine and bond with them at their Chandigarh residence.
"My parents want to treat Ali as a special guest and they are looking forward to host him for a dinner in Chandigarh. He is a Punjabi too and I am sure he will love the food there," she said.
