Shah Rukh Khan and Yash Chopra will come together for a film after several years. The name of the film is kept under wraps, even though the buzz has already begun.
The film's original title, replacing 'Yash Chopra's Next' was expected to be announced with the first teaser, but that did not happen.
“Never before has a film’s trailer been released without its title. This one insinuates that it just may be called ‘Yash Chopra’s romance.’ However, the teaser does confirm that the film will release on Diwali,” says an insider.
There is no doubt that both the big names are romance tycoons, hence, the expectations from this upcoming film are high.
The teaser also takes us through various iconic films from the Yash Chopra 'love stable' such as 'Deewar', 'Kabhi Kabhie', 'Silsila' and 'Dil Toh Pagal Hai'. This time however, Chopra’s film’s title has been talked about a lot in the last few weeks.
A few days ago, SRK was heard talking about the upcoming film at an event. "For now, it’s important to know that it’s my film and it’s coming out on Diwali. 'Naam mein kya rakha hai'? (What’s in a name?),” he said, clarifying that none of this is a marketing strategy. To that he added, "We want a title that can encompass something that can’t be destroyed, such as love and beliefs.Yashji has something in mind though!”
This film will see the bouncing back of legendary romance director, Yash Chopra in the film industry almost after 8 years, his last release being 'Veer Zaara'. Rumours have it that Yash Raj Films is likely to come out with the title once the film’s final schedule ends in Kashmir and Ladakh.
