(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens relationship is said to have ran its course.

The beautiful Hollywood pair had been dating for more than four years after they met on the set of the High School Musical franchise and they were considered to be one of the strongest couples in showbiz.

Now a source has told E! Online the couple have decided to part ways, although the split is said to be amicable.

"It's nothing dramatic," a source revealed. "There's no third party involved."

"They were together for so long. It just ran its course, added another source.

Their split will come as a huge shock to their millions of fans across the globe who watched as the couples love blossomed over the years. According to reports the pair will remain pals as there are no hard feelings whatsoever and they still hope to stay in each others lives.

"They are 100 percent still good friends," a source told People magazine.

Both stars are working incredibly hard at the moment in different parts of the globe- Zac is shooting The Lucky One in New Orleans while Vanessa is working in Hawaii on Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. (C) Cover Media
