(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Zach Galifianakis joked Bradley Cooper had split from his girlfriend after she saw one of his movies, when the star rang him to moan about his love life.

The two actors appear alongside each other in the Hangover movies, the second of which was recently released on the big screen. They became firm friends after shooting the original 2009 film and now spend time together even when they aren't working.

Zach is well known for speaking his mind, admitting he finds it funny to say shocking things. He explained he put that into practice when Bradley range him to say he'd split from his partner believed to be Rene Zellweger.

"Inappropriateness is funny to me. ... Rudeness is hilarious," he explained to Rolling Stone.

"He rang me and I said, She saw Limitless!'"

Zach recently hit headlines when he spoke about January Jones, revealing he'd told her to "f**king be nice" when they met as everyone would forget her soon. She isn't the only star to receive a tongue-lashing from the rotund comic. He also gave risqu pop star Ke$ha a mouthful after running into her at a bar. She'd previously emailed to ask him out, and Zach wasn't impressed.

"She was sitting by herself, and I walked up to her and said, 'Listen, I got your email. Your music is really bad!'" he explained. "I don't know who listens to it, but I imagine it's, like, six-year-olds - and it's a bad message."

Zach's appearance means he finds it hard to blend in. He is carrying some extra weight but is aiming to drop 20lbs. by September and also has a huge bushy beard, meaning fans regularly approach him.

He has a novel way of putting them off when they ask if he's the guy from The Hangover. "I say, No, I hate that guy. I think he's a terrible actor. And he's fat,'" he laughed. (C) Cover Media
