5th July 2018

Looks like Amyra Dastur loves experimenting with her looks as she goes super punk for her upcoming film. She went glossy and stylish for Rishi Kapoor starrer 'Rajma Chawal'. Now the actress sports a punk mohawk look for her next which is the highly anticipated Hindi remake of Deva Katta's Telugu blockbuster, 'Prasthaanam'.

Reports confirm that the 25-year old will essay the role of an NRI in the film. The actress had discussions with the director in zeroing the final look. Reportedly, he wanted to acquire a more likeable and modern edge to the character, but it was producer Maanyata who thought of deep purple streaks to intensify the quirkiness and fun element for Amyra's role. This is indeed a bold tomb boyish look and it brings a lot of versatility when we see Amyra's previous roles.

Amyra reportedly averred that she loves experimenting with her looks. And she truly believes that's it's her job as an actor to bring a character to life and if that means changing the look, then so be it. The film has a stellar cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Ali Fazal and Manisha Koirala in pivotal roles.

While 'Prasthaanam' is still being filmed in Lucknow and is most likely set to release sometime in 2019, Amyra's 'Rajma Chawal' is slated to release on 31st August 2018.
