Internet was already taken by storm earlier by Mannequin challenge and the Ice Bucket Challenge, but now there is another one following the social media trends as many Bollywood celebs are accepting this one without any hesitation.

It is the 'Padman Challenge' trending on Instagram and Twitter as celebs are coming forward. The challenge is pretty simple, the celeb has to click a pic holding a sanitary pad in his or her hand and share it on social media. The celeb also needs to tag three other celebs in the caption and challenge them to do so. The Challenge is to promote a great thought from the film Padman which is based on real-life of Entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham, who made low-cost sanitary pads for the women of his village. The #PadManchallenge began on social media after which a number of celebs like Twinkle Khanna, Sonam Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt and others joined in.

Mrs funnybones tweeted with a sanitary pad in her hand saying, ''Thank you for tagging me @murugaofficial Yes, that's a Pad in my hand & there's nothing to be ashamed about. It's natural! Period. #PadManChallenge Copy, Paste this & Challenge your friends to take a photo with a Pad! Here I am Challenging @aamir_khan @AzmiShabana @hvgoenka." Then the challenge continues to flourish over the internet and stars also started tagging three famous faces to complete the challenge.

Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sophie Choudry, Aditi Rao Hydari and Swara Bhaskar ​Aamir Khan, Ali Fazal, Dia Mirza, Diana Penty, Karan Johar, Mouni Roy, Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma boldly live up the challenge and clicked with a sanitary pad.

Whereas Deepika Padukone shared a boomerang video holding the sanitary pad. Click here to watch it. The stand out acceptance was Anil Kapoor who accepted the challenge by shooting along with 'Fanne Khan' co-star Rajkummar Rao. They shot a video where Anil Kapoor plays a chemist and Rao asks for a sanitary pad as a buyer.
