(Cover) - EN Star Style - Dannii Minogue's make-up artist has revealed tips for picking the perfect foundation.

The 39-year-old is renowned for her gorgeous features and glowing skin, which she admits is the result of masterful cosmetics application.

The Australian singer's make-up artist Fotini Hatzis says that choosing the right shade foundation for your skin needn't be a dreaded experience.

"A lot of us wear protection on our faces so your hands and your chest will always be slightly darker than your face so I always suggest that you choose the foundation that matches your chest," she explained in a video blog on mydaily.co.uk.

The beauty expert says the chest is the most reliable area to make a perfect match for your foundation shade because it should extend down from your face anyway. Fotini says having a different colour face to your chest area is not a good beauty look.

"Test it on your chest, and slightly underneath your jaw line, that way you can see the comparison. When you blend your foundation you always blend it down to the chest area anyway. I see girls with a lighter shade face to their chest and I'm like Ah, honey!'" she added. (C) Cover Media
