After giving back to back directorial hits 'Yaariyan' and 'Sanam Re' Divya Khosla Kumar is not taking any break. The actress-director is now contributing her time towards noble causes close to her heart. Divya has been officially announced as the Goodwill Ambassador of Smile Foundation, an NGO dedicated towards providing education for underprivileged children, girl child, and supporting poor children's health.

This official announcement was made on Friday night at a glitzy charity gala dinner organised by Virat Kohli Foundation where in Virat Kohli, felicitated her as the Goodwill Ambassador for Smile Foundation!

In the past, Divya has been associated with this cause on several occasions, advocating and raising funds for the foundation and this time has come forward to go all out and fully support the cause of girl child education and nutrition for less privileged children.

Girl child education and their safety is a growing concern not only in our country but in places across the world. I've been associated with this foundation since a while and I cannot express how happy I am to be given the honour to be the ambassador of the same. It's my time to give back to the society and I am charged as ever to do whatever it takes to protect these children and make a change."
