Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra was not in the limelight for a couple of days now. After 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' which released in the year 2013, Rakeysh is now back with yet another power packed film. He will introduce two new fresh faces in Bollywood. Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher will mark their debut with this all new film.

On June 8, 2016, the first teaser trailer of the film was released. Rakeysh released the trailer on the microblogging site twitter, He said, "Take a glimpse into the beautiful and unexplored world of an untold love story! #MirzyaTeaserTrailer OUT NOW."

The teaser starts with the entry of the film's lead pair, Harshvardhan and Saiyami enjoying a bike ride while remembering their childhood days. The look of the main lead is kept under wraps as we hardly get glimpses of the hero. But Saiyami looks drop ddead gorgeous in her desi avatar. Basically set in the backdrop of the rich terrain of Rajasthan we also get snippets of the folklore set which is set up in the scenic beauty of Ladakh.

'Mirzya' is an epic love story set in contemporary times. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and written by Gulzar, the film releases on October 7, 2016.
