Rajkumar Hirani directed 'Sanju' a biopic on Bollywood's controversial actor Sanjay Dutt and after revealing the super gripping trailer of this Ranbir Kapoor starrer, the makers of the film introduced Manisha Koirala as Nargis Dutt in the brand new movie poster.

The pic literally takes us back in time and reflects a beautiful mother-son relationship. Rajkumar Hirani shared the film's poster and tweeted,"She lovingly called him #Sanju, and now that’s what we all do too! Watch the ever so wonderful Manisha Koirala as Nargisji on 29th June. @mkoirala #RanbirKapoor! #RajkumarHiraniFilms @VVCFilms @foxstarhindi."

Manisha is seen with an optimistic smile in the new poster and glimpse of Ranbir's replicated look of Dutt from 'Rocky' days completes the poster.

During the film's trailer launch Manisha Koirala said,"When Bombay released, I remember Dutt saab (Sunil Dutt) came up to me and told me ‘you remind me of Nargis ji." 

Sanjay Dutt got emotional listening to the message from Yasser Usman's book, Sanjay Dutt: The Crazy Untold Story of Bollywood's Bad Boy. The message quotes him as saying, "I burst out crying and I cried and cried, I cried continuously for four days, I think till then I hadn’t grieved for her when she passed away. So her voice and those tapes changed everything in my life."
