The three day literary event, which kick started on Saturday has been jointly organised by Assam government and Pramod Kalita, Secretory Publication Board of Assam

Actress Manisha Koirala known for films like 'Khamoshi', 'Dil Se', 'Mann' and many more was present for the 3rd edition of Brahmaputra Literary Festival today which is happening in Guwahati, Assam.

She said, "I'm really thankful to the government for giving me an opportunity to come here and share my story and honouring me here at the festival."

She who is a well known face in the Bollywood industry and even internationally was honoured at the festival and even shared her story of surviving cancer. The actress spoke in depth about how her life changed when she was diagnosed with cancer.

Recently seen in 'Sanju' and many other films, she even added that she is ready for new projects and wants to do good work.
