A Mumbai- based Fashion designer filed an FIR in Versova Police station against singer Mika Singh and alleged that he had outraged her modesty. According to the police, the woman was at Mika’s resident at around 2 a.m on Tuesday.

"The victim has told us that during this time, she had an argument with Singh over a monetary issue, and during this argument, he pushed her and pulled her hair. The victim and Singh have known each other for the last five years," said an officer with the Versova police.

Joint Commissioner of Police Deven Bharti also confirmed the news about the registration of FIR under Indian Penal Code. The police is now verifying all the necessary details about the singer and will call him for enquiry in the next couple of days. They are also obtaining details about the CCTV footages from the building.
