Rani Mukerji's 'Hichki' now to release in Kazakhstan

Rani Mukerji proved her acting prowess with her comeback film 'Hichki' where she plays a victim of Tourette syndrome and an enthusiastic teacher who wants to pursue her career in teaching. Her stellar performance from the film was praised by many and it turned out to be a box-office success as well raking 76 crores life-time collection made within a budget of 15 crores.

Now the makers are trying to expand their glory and after a successful run in Russia, 'Hichki' is all set to release in Kazakhstan. Known for some interest in Hindi films, movie will get a Russian voiceover release here, as it is one of Kazakhstan's official languages. This Rani Mukerji starrer was also premiered in Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) and at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM)

Hichki will be screened across 15 screens in Kazakhstan a wide release for any Indian film since 2015. Speaking about Hichki's success Rani said ''It's truly amazing that films can cross over to different cultures and languages because of its universal story. Hichki is a reflection of society, a reflection of how we all have weaknesses and we need to overcome them to make the world a better place. It talks about every person’s determination, focus and positive spirit to win over obstacles. I’m happy that Hichki’s core message is resonating with audiences across the globe. I am proud of the film and grateful that people are enjoying it.''
