Recently Shahid was clicked in his movie look and we see the hero sporting dense beard with his shabby look and medium length hair. The film will feature a broken Kabir Singh who turns to a massive liquor addict as the love of his life is married to someone else. The actor's look is peculiar to that of Vijay Deverakonda who was the lead in Arjun Reddy.

In an interview with a leading daily, director Vanga revealed that the Hindi remake will be even more intense than the original. Speaking about the film he said, "When I made Arjun Reddy, I wasn't sure where to draw the line in terms of representation of certain things. I don't think I'd have to restrict myself when it comes to the Hindi version. I believe I'll have more freedom in Bollywood."
