Vidya Balan, who was away from the limelight will be back with her next film 'Kahaani 2' which will be a sequel to the 2012 film 'Kahaani.' And this time it will be Arjun Rampal who will join her in this thriller drama film. While the first film made the audience glued to their seats till the last moment, this one also seems to be the same as Vidya creates much suspense in the trailer and promo. The makers of the film have now released the first song 'Mehram' from the film and it is quiet intense.

As we know that Vidya is leading a double life Vidya Sinha and Durga Rani Singh in the film, this song depicts the equation between Durga Rani Singh and her daughter Mini. Durga is very attached to her daughter while she shares a rather different unlikeness towards Mini's father. Arjun, who plays the cop in the film is seen reading Durga's diary till he discovers that it is incomplete. Here lies the suspense and nothing is revealed about the film. Sung in the soulful voice of Arijit Singh, the song is penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music is by Clinton Cerejo.

Meanwhile the makers have also released the first dialogue promo of the film which features Vidya Balan in her never-seen-before avatar. Initially Vidya Sinha is shown running helplessly on a busy street and is hit by truck. Arjun Rampal who is incharge of her case discovers that Vidya Sinha shares a strong resemblance to Durga Rani Singh who is a wanted criminal for kidnapping and murder. While Durga is wild, aggressive, impatient. Vidya on the other hand is calm, composed who loves to write diaries. Well you will have to wait for the next update of the film.
