'Dear Zindagi' passed with zero cuts by CBFC

15th November 2016

From past few months the cine industry has undergone some of the major changes in its policies. Each and every film has to pass one final examination before its release. Well here we are talking about the Censor test which was started from the time when Anurag Kashyap's 'Udta Punjab' was released. Keeping it aside, now it is mandatory to follow certain rules and regulations and filmmakers are too co-operating with this decision.

Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Dear Zindagi' is on the verge of its release and now the censor has passed the film without any cuts. The film is said to be a light-hearted comedy film and a family entertainer which is the reason that an UA certification is passed by the CBFC.

According to a source, "There is not a single cut, verbal or visual. The Board actually said it would be a crime to cut even one shot from the film. They also singled out Shah Rukh Khan as the A-list actor with the least censorial intervention required in his films."

The makers of the film can now breathe a sigh of relief as they have passed one test and be ready for the other-Viewers review test!!
