19th April 2017

People who missed the TV serial 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' then aired on the TV channel Star One now have a reason to rejoice. At the end of the last season the makers hinted for a second season, but it didn't happen. Later in 2016, the whole team announced the reunion once again and now they are all set to give you your daily dose of laughter, but this time on a digital platform Hotstar. The official Facebook page for Hotstar shared the first trailer from the web series.

The trailer shows Sarabhais hunting for a name for their next season. Maya Sarabhai played by Ratna Pathak is now going the natural way and is sassy as always, while Indravadan Sarabhai played by Satish Shah is still cracking nasty jokes on Maya.

Roshesh Sarabhai played by Rajesh Kumar pens poetries which seem like essays and Monisha Sarabhai played by Rupali Ganguly is the same typical middle class women who has her own middle class take on every issue.

The other lead characters of Arvind Kumar and Deven Bhojani, Madhusudan and Dushyant respectively too enjoy screen space in the trailer and are seen suggesting some hilarious names for the show.

But it is Ratna Pathak who nails it with her dialogue 'Masala Maarke is gastronomically middle class' which will leave you in splits immediately. Poor Sahil Sarabhai played by Sumeet Raghavan, the only smarty in the house is tangled in all the mess like always and is now seeking help of the audience to suggest a suitable name for the show.

As laughter is guaranteed with the Sarabhai gang on board, the web-series will go on air very soon.
