A sad day for the music industry as the veteran singer Mohammad Aziz passed away and fans could mourn on his unfortunate death. The acclaimed singer had an era as he helmed some popular songs from the 80's and 90's. Aziz was a traditional singer who sung almost twenty thousand songs in different Indian languages.
He has recorded hundreds of devotional Bhajans and Sufi songs as well. Aziz has some hit duet numbers with Asha Bhosle and Lata Mangeshkar as well. He was one of the rare singers who could sing at the 7th note. The 64-year-old was admitted in the Nanavati hospital of Mumbai where he took his last breath. Johnny Lever's brother Jimmy Moses took to social media to announce the news.
Jimmy said that yesterday, Mohammad Aziz had a show in Kolkata and today when he reached the Mumbai airport he started feeling sick. When he took a cab, he told the driver that he's not feeling well after which he was taken to Nanavati hospital. In the hospital, the doctors said that he suffered a heart attack and declared him dead.
Aziz's daughter Sana Aziz has said that they got to know about this news around 3 pm today. "He always used to travel with someone. So, we got a call from them only. He died due to heart blockage. The problem started even before he boarded the flight but he just wanted to get back home. The last rites will happen in Mumbai only but not much has been decided yet."
