The entertainment industry and relationships go hand in hand, but not always for the right reasons.

Well it is heard that director A. L. Vijay and Amala Paul who were supposedly seeing each other have unfortunately ended their relationship. Amala Paul was recently shooting for her movie in London, but she didn't even think about giving a call to Vijay who was also in the city for his movie 'Thaandavam'.

But the strange news is, that Vijay who was all puzzled to hear the details said that he was never in a relationship with the pretty star to have broken up in the first place.

In a talk with CT from London he said, "The reports are baseless and utter rubbish. I don’t know why anybody would want to link us up. Amala and I share a great vibe, and we are still in touch. But, there’s nothing remotely romantic between us!”

The two met on the sets of the movie 'Deiva Thirumagal', and have been very good friends ever since. They have been times when the director has bought food for Amala and even invited her to his home for family events, but these were just friendly gestures.

Apparently Vijay's parents have been looking out for a bride for him, but a miffed Vijay added, "I’m busy with my films, and I’ve no plans of marrying now. My parents are also not hunting for a bride!”

Well, now that the director has shunned the rumours, the air between a supposed relationship has finally been cleared.
