Superstar Rajnikanth is always known for showering abundant praises for the films he watches. But this time, the words were straight from the heart as he couldn't stop singing praises of his son-in-law Dhanush's recent release 'Aadukalam'. Soon after the special screening of 'Aadukalam' at Four Frames Preview Theatre, the actor mentioned that the film reveals of the hard work by entire team. 'This will be a great milestone in Dhanush's career as it was 'Mullum Malarum' for me' added Superstar Rajnikanth.
Set in backdrops of Madurai, the film revolves around Karuppu (Dhanush), an innocent youngster, who is involved in 'Rooster Fights' with the guidance of his mentor Pettaikaaran (Jaya Balan). Though Pettaikaaran considers Dhorai (Kishore) as the most important person, Karuppu doesn't worry about it and shows unconditional respect for him. He eventually falls in love with an Anglo Indian girl Irene (Taapsee), who lives in the railway colony.
