While most filmmakers take a concious decision of not releasing their film during IPL, perfectionist Aamir Khan dares to go beyond the IPL mania to release his ambitious project tentatively titled 'Dhuan'.

According to the sources, Aamir, who had earlier planned to release his next mega venture 'Dhuan' on 26th January next year,  has now decided to release it during the IPL season in 2012. The reason speculated behind the postponement of the release date is Aamir's decision to dedicate more time to the post-production work (editing, marketing etc) of the film.

Directed by Reema Kagti of 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd' fame,  the suspense drama film stars Aamir Khan along with Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherji in the lead and has Aamir playing the role of a cop.

It remains to be seen whether Aamir's bold decision to release the film during IPL will be in Dhuan's favour or not...
