'Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe' a sizzling item number with a quirky tone

The makers of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Stree' recently dropped an item number from the film featuring Kriti Sanon who wakes up from the dead and dances off inviting her afterlife date urging them 'Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe'.

The song has Kriti with her unconventional dance moves matching with the quirky tone of the song. She is dating a skeleton while the rest of the two ghost Badshah and Rajkummar Rao join her with some awkward dance steps.

Composed by Sachin-Jigar, the song has few rap verses from Badshah whereas Nikhita Gandhi's voice suits Kriti's act. Going by the genre of the film 'Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe' has just raised the quirky quotient of the film. Click here to watch the official music video.

Talking about 'Stree', the film is a horror comedy attached with a love story. The cast also includes Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana among others. The film is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan, Raj and DK. The film is based on the folk story of a witch who knocks doors at night that the residents must not answer. Shraddha Kapoor plays a mysterious woman in the film and the trailer has made the audience wonder if she is the actual 'Stree'.

The makers even dropped the making video of the song and it begins with the composers Sachin Jigar telling the tale of how they spot Aao Kabhi Haveli pe while travelling in a rickshaw and immediately they took a U-turn towards the studio. Kriti Sanon from the sets of the song speaking how quirky is the song and she loved every beat of it. Director Dinesh Vijan mentions that a rap verse is missing and he invited Badshah who did a rap within three hours, Ruel Dausan the makeup head giving those vampirish look for Rajkummar Rao and how everyone unites for this peppy song. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, 'Stree' is slated to release on August 31.
