The makers of 'Thackeray' a biopic on Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray are out with a Marathi song keeping the essence of a language which is intact in the heart of many.

The song 'Aaple Saheb Thackeray' presents moments of Balasaheb and these montage scenes have him taking the command quite fiercely; actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who plays the leader onscreen is quite convincing going by the visuals of the song. What's more, like it is the people become the voice of a logical leader who leads them upfront keeping the roots of the Marathi culture on the top. In the end, Balasaheb's famous signature line is lip-synced by Nawaz himself and it was a joy to see the makers experiment such thing. The song is crooned by Nakash Aziz, written by Dr. Sunil Jogi and composed by Rohan Rohan. 'Thackeray' is an upcoming biographical film written and directed by Abhijit Panse, made simultaneously in Marathi and Hindi.

Following the life of Bal Thackeray, the founder of the Indian political party Shiv Sena, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the eponymous person and Amrita Rao as his wife. The audiences, especially from Mumbai and Maharashtra, are eagerly waiting for to witness Balasaheb's lifetime journey on-screen.

Thackeray is scheduled for release on 25th January 2019, the 93rd birthday of Bal Thackeray.
