(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Abbie Cornish has recalled being nestled in dirt on her first date.

The 28-year-old Australian actress who split from actor Ryan Phillippe last year is one of the worlds most lusted after ladies, although she admits her romantic escapades with the opposite sex havent always been particularly glamorous.

Abbie remembers going on one particular date as a young girl which saw her getting rather grubby.

I believe mine was under the modular buildings in primary school. In year one or two, when I was six or seven. I remember crawling along the ground and meeting the boy there; it was dark, and we were nestled in the dirt, she revealed in the April edition of Marie Claire.

There were no kisses, a lot of silence. I think he may have pinched me then the school bell rang.

Abbie is currently promoting new movie Limitless, in which she stars alongside Bradley Cooper as he portrays a writer who discovers a drug which lends him superhero-like abilities.

Bradley was also present at the Marie Claire interview, and was happy to discuss his first ever date too. The 36-year-old hunk is now happily dating movie actress Rene Zellweger, and remembering his earlier ventures with potential partners makes him cringe.

The first date I ever went on was in Ocean City, New Jersey, he explained. I was 13, and I took this girl I knew to a seafood restaurant on the boardwalk and ordered clams on the half shell not really a great first-date meal.

I was dressed like such a dork, plus its not very appealing to watch your date suck down 24 raw clams on a hot summer night, but thats how I laid it on, he laughed. (C) Cover Media
