Cline Dions son loves poker

17th March 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cline Dions ten-year-old son takes poker so seriously his parents have to try their hardest not to giggle at him.

The Canadian singer has Rene-Charles with her husband Ren Anglil, and they are also parents to four-month-old twins Eddy and Nelson. Clines husband has masterminded her career, but he is also a keen cards player. He used to be a professional gambler and has passed his love of poker on to Rene-Charles.

Im being very honest with you. Hes great at poker, Ren said. Its so funny to see him look you in the eye and say, All in! I try not to laugh.

Cline is currently staging a three-year residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and her family are with her. Ren was instrumental in convincing her to play the shows as he grew tired of people quizzing him on when she would return to the city she has performed their multiple times in the past.

He is a huge fan of classic artists such as Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, and was keen for his wife to emulate them.

I saw Sinatra many times, the 69-year-old The Daily Beast. I saw him at Caesars. I saw him at the Sands. Youd fly in one trip, and youd win. Then I would lose on the next three trips, but I would remember the time I won. Thats how they get people.

It was because of his love of Elvis that Ren encouraged Cline to perform with a hologram of the late star on American Idol several years ago. The move wasnt a hit with everyone, but he stands by his decision.

It looked so real! he said. It was incredible. I understand people who come to see Cline and they cry when they see her. I was like that with Elvis. (C) Cover Media
