'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' actor Abhay Deol to appear opposite Patralekha in a dark comedy film titled 'Nanu ki Jaanu'. Both Abhay Deol and Patralekha unite for the first time in Faraz Haider directed Nanu Ki Jaanu. Haider's previous project was the 2013 satirical comedy 'War Chhod Na Yaar' that just did not go well at the box-office.

Earlier Abhay shared the film's poster on Twitter and captioned it, ''Started work on a new film! A dark comedy, my favourite genre. #Nanukijaanu.''

The film will narrate a supernatural love story through a dark comedy genre, a genre that Abhay Deol has confessed to being his favourite one. Apart from Deol and Patralekha the film also stars Bigg Boss 11 fame Sapna Chaudhary in a cameo role.

The film caters a least explored genre which is an experiment for its makers. However, it will be interesting to see the first time pairing of Abhay Deol and Patralekha. Presented by Inbox Pictures Pvt Ltd, Nanu Ki Jaanu is co-produced by Sajid Qureshi and Mahipal Karan Rathore and will release along with Majid Majidi's 'Beyond the Clouds' on April 20.

His last appearance was in 2016 comedy-drama flick 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' opposite Diana Penty and Ali Fazal. Whereas we have seen the gorgeous Patralekha in 'Love Games' in a negative role.
