Abhishek Bachchan has been given innumerable offers to do a role that had been done by his father Amitabh Bachchan in the past. However, he has refrained from doing any, as he felt that no actor (including himself) could do justice to a role played by Big B.

However, it looks like someone has managed to change Abhishek's mind.

It is heard that producer Kunal Kohli has signed AB Junior to reprise a role played by Big B almost 33 years ago.

The talked about film is 'Do Aur Do Paanch' (1980), which also had Shashi Kapoor, Hema Malini and Parveen Babi.

According to sources, Bobby Deol will be playing Shashi Kapoor's role and Abhishek will be seen in his father's shoes. The female leads are yet to be finalized.

The film will be directed by newcomer Akshaye Puri who is a maternal cousin of designer Manish Malhotra and actor Varun Dhawan.
