The unit of ‘Vedi’, directed by Prabhu Deva, is currently stationed in South Africa, where they will be shooting two songs.
 

“Prabhu Deva was keen to shoot the songs in exotic locations and he has zeroed in on South Africa. Two songs will be canned in never-seen-before locations there. Prabhu is taking his job as a director seriously and is making sure everything, right from the costumes to the way the songs will be picturized, comes out well.” sources say.


Devi Sri Prasad will also feature in one of the songs in the film. The source adds, “DSP and Sameera will appear in a racy number in the film. A portion of it was already shot in Kolkata and the rest will be canned in SA.”

The talkie portion of the Vishal-Sameera-starrer is complete and post-production work is on. The audio of the film, composed by Vijay Antony, will be launched in the first week of September.
