Karan Johar, the ambitious director is aiming to release his forth coming film 'Agneepath' in the year 2011. The film is a remake of the classic flick 'Agneepath', that originally starred Amitabh Bachchan and was produced by Karan Johar's father Yash Johar. Karan Johar is re-making this film in order to revive the old magic and the film now stars Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra. The film is still in its shooting stage but Karan Johar is adamant on releasing the film after the arrival of 'Ra.One' and before 'Don 2' hits the screen. 'Ra.One' has booked the slot of 26th October 2011, whereas 'Don 2' has also fixed a date to hit the screens on 23rd of December 2011. That means Karan Johar has set eyes for a November release for his ambitious film 'Agneepath'.

As Karan wants this film to release in 2011 itself, he has accelerated the shooting schedule and has even speeded up the process of filming it. The shooting schedule of the film is expected to wrap up within a span of a month or so, after which the film will be on the editing table. With so little time left in hand, it would be a Herculean task for Karan to complete the film by the desired time.
